Youth Pheasant Hunt

The Montana Game Wardens Association in partnership with the Golden Triangle Chapter of the Pheasants Forever and the Golden Triangle Sporting Dog Club sponsored a youth pheasant hunt north of Great Falls. During the youth pheasant season, 17 youth hunters participated in an educational/training session with clay pigeons before hitting the field with a mentor, dog, and handler. Each kid had the opportunity to shoot a pheasant over a pointing dog and with some luck, each kid got to take home a bird. The event was a blast and the kids loved it!
